But, not because of this book... But, oh, I'm going to read this book; buy it as soon as I have more than two pennies to rub together (that still don't produce the magic million, will it? OK, just wanted to be sure). <br /><br />I found Conan because I always loved the movies, yet Arnold, though looking the part, did not do justice to Howard's original character. And I found out one of my favorite authors wrote the novels of Conan (though I have yet to be able to read them). But, I have read many of the original serials. And it inspired me to write like that. Not just a good hero who's is "good" (cause he's not). But, something that doesn't have the subtle undertones of literary theory, but something that is straight action, and is short and to the point. (this is my Valiant Sword story). And I have wanted to write more "serial" like fiction. <br /><br />But, I loved the podcast, your specific introspection of this book. And I'm glad I found it.
